Brixia Tour – 3rd stage

A massive sprint gave Belletti the victory in the 3rd stage of Brixia Tour (Brescia-Prevalle, 211,5 km), while the best athlete from Lampre-ISD was Pietropolli, 10th.
The race began with the attack of 5 riders, but the bunch controlled their advantage and then neutralized their action before the passagea (on a total of three) on the hill of San Giacomo, where Lampre-ISD tried to favour two attacks by Gavazzi: the blue-fucsia athlete escaped from the group, but he could not reached the arrival.
Pietropolli battle for Lampre-ISD in the final sprint, obtaining the 10th place.
