Ulissi showed once again that he’s very competitive when the roads approach the mountains. In the 4th stage of Brixia Tour (Concesio-Passo Maniva, 158,5 km), the young blue-fucsia athlete obtained the 3rd place, result that allowed him to be 4rd in the overall standing and to become leader of the young riders classification.
The topic moment of the stage was the final climb to Passo Maniva, where Pozzovivo took the leadership of the race followed by Baliani and by a selected group of riders among whose members there was Ulissi too. Pozzovivo could reach the arrival with 7″ on Baliani and with 13″ on Ulissi.
