It’s time for Damiano Cunego to take part in his first seasonal race.
Lampre-ISD’s captain will debut in 2012 in Challenge Calabria (11-12 February) and in blue-fuchsia team there will be also Bertagnolli, Bono, Buts, Cimolai, Graziato, Mori, Pietropolli, Righi and Viganò.
Te team will be directed by Fabrizio Bontempi and Sandro Lerici with the support by doctor Beltemacchi, masseurs Bertolone, Capelli and Napolitano, mechanics Gaia and Romanò and driver Bozzolo.
“In Lampre-ISD there will be the winner of 2011 edition, Daniele Pietropolli, but it will be quite difficult for him to repeat the success - Fabrizio Bontempi pointed out - The reason is that the course changed a lot and that there will be only two days of race: the stages will be suitable for fast riders such Cimolai, Viganò, Graziato, Mori and Buts. Cunego is happy to come back to races: “Okay, I’m ready to start the season and to live the feelings that the race gives you. I think I could not compete for top results, the goal is to improve the fit. Only the weather could be a problem, since the forecasts say that there will be bad weather”.
