Oleksandr Kvachuk (photo archive Bettini) could not defend the title of time trial Ukrainian champion he won in 2011. On the 40 km course in Bila Tserkva, Kvachuk obtained the 14th place, while his Lampre-ISD’s mates Dmytro Krivtsov and Vitaliy Buts were 11th and 8th. The winner was Grivko.

“We did not perform a competitive time trial, also because the course, completely flat, was not suitable for the characteristics of our cyclists - sport director Bondariew said - We could have more chances on Saturday race, 240 km of hilly roads”.
