Rumble for 2nd place by Palini at Miller Motorsports Park

In Tour of Utah the fast wheels of the bunch retunr to be protagonists, after that Schar had surprised them in the 2nd stage.
On the final straight of the 3rd stage (Lehi-Miller Motorsports Park, 190,3 km), the riders that love the speed could fight in a massive sprint in which Palini played a role as protagonist.

The blue-fuchsia-green cyclist realized a good performance in the sprint and he was preceded only by Hofland, who had already won the 1st stage of the American race.
Palini missed the first victory in North America in the blue-fuchsia-green history: the team won in every continent but North America.

The course was not demanding, since it was characterized by only one Kom. It was more intense the final part of the stage, when the bunch covered at full speed three laps along the twists and turns of the 3,5 km East Track at the Motorsports Park.
Palini approached the sprint in the proper way, trying to anticipate Hofland, but the Dutch rider was not surprised and could precede the Italian guy (photo,
